If you can edit the logs, what is the use of maintaining them? I can understand deleting part of the log, but editing?

    That is the deleting part (I believe their can be two options, one to delete without any mark and one which inserts "some text missing" sort of message wherever there is a deletion). But if you have the ability to edit the logs (like changing my 3 line reason as to why I don't like you to a plain and simple "I hate you"), it will end any reliability in the logs.

      He isn't really looking for reliability in that sense as far as I can make out
