In South Africa we had lots of issues with previous president. Some of the issues were tied to the fact that presidential powers were a bit fuzzy. During the drafting of the new constitution everyone knew Nelson Mandela would be president so the laws were drafted taking into consideration he generally did the right thing. Not all presidents do the right thing we soon learned. Perhaps we are a young democracy. Will this ruling have an adverse effect for a future president?
