- alexknight 16y agoEpicurious so far with the paid account sync option so she can sync recipes. Mario Batali's app looks pretty neat as well since they recently added native iPad resolution support.
- jdp23 16y agothanks!
- alexknight 16y agoNo problem. I think overall there is a lack of really polished cooking apps for iOS. Mario Batali's app seems to have some nice typography from the screenshots I have looked at, but doesn't have as much content from what I can tell in comparison to others.
- rbritton 16y agoFor your own personal recipes, I'd recommend Paprika: http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=1798717 http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=1798717
- alexknight 16y agoThanks. Haven't come across this one yet but Paprika looks pretty slick.
- cdr 16y agoPaprika seems to be 100% tied to the iPad, which I don't like - I'd much rather have an iPad interface to something on the web.
- cdr 16y agohttp://wegottaeat.com http://wegottaeat.com looks interesting, but subscription seems somewhat expensive ($15/year) for what you get, and it doesn't look like there's been any updates since February (which incidentally seems to be when it moved to paid subscriptions).
