Well this is the first time I feel like my side “project” is worth mentioning on HN. Unitsofsound [1] is a course that teaches reading, writing & spelling using a syllabus based 100% on phonics. At least that’s my layman’s understanding, we have a number of SME teachers that guide the actual product development, my dad and I just build it.
