"Bash on Windows is maturing quickly." -- Hold my beer. Sorry, maturing quickly isn't going to cut it if you're a hardcore developer that works off the bash command line.
- SpaceManiac 7y agoMSYS2 has been distributing a native Windows port of bash for years; it's completely stable and works great (it's the one used in Git Bash). "Maturing quickly" refers to the reverse-Wine/integrated VM situation that MS is developing in WSL.
- yarg 7y agoI don't know the stature of Bash on Windows, but Git Bash does all that I need it to.
