What about people trying out new, experimental digital modes? Should that not be allowed?
- sciurus 7y agoThe petition doesn't say they shouldn't be allowed. It just suggests the people developing such modes must provide the means to decode them.
- samstave 7y agoWhich is the same as when the NSA required Cisco to install backdoors into all their products. So FUCK this.
- samstave 7y agoAnyone who downvotes this go fuck yourselves. We knew about carnivore, echelon, and priism years before it was revealed. Let me ask you a question; where the fuck is Palantir these days, or the other NLP spying tech companies... Fuck all of them.
- roywiggins 7y agoYou could throw in an exception for experimental use, but even an experiment can have its protocols published somewhere beforehand.
