All I've seen says otherwise. The X1 is more expensive and has a more premium construction. The T4x0s approximates it in some specs and form-factor but is still behind on both. The T4x0s seems positioned so that enterprises can distribute it broadly and get the size/weight advantage without the cost of the X1. At least the enterprise I work for does that, using the X1 only for the executives.
