Unfortunately I expect just some insurances to pop up that cover data security fines. Unless the fees are getting really in-insurable, the cost of an insurance is probably just cheaper than actuary improving security.
- gcthomas 7y agoIt may well be that the insurance companies are less likely to get their minimum security demands for agreeing cover ignored than the internal managers looking to spend more money on security.
