I have used Amtrak a great over the past 13 years that I have lived in NYC. Back around 2006 a 10-hour trip from NYC to Pittsburgh cost me $60. Now it is much more expensive. I still love Amtrak, though. Their iPhone app is pretty good, their customer service has always been excellent, and I really enjoy traveling by train -- it is so much more comfortable and efficient than any other mode of transport, and it is a great environment for getting work done.
