Its already ruined his life and pushed him back to the bottle, I doubt I could entice him to do anything relating to Boeing.
Edit: Here is a piece New York Times did on exactly what I'm talking about: https://www.nytimes.com/2019/04/20/business/boeing-dreamliner-production-problems.html https://www.nytimes.com/2019/04/20/business/boeing-dreamline...
- ltbarcly3 7y agoNo offense to your friend, but maybe, just maybe, he didn't quit due to cultural problems at Boeing, causing him to pay back his huge sign on bonus, but maybe.. and I hate to say it, he was drunk at work and got fired, then lied to you to save face?

Go to Georgetown and start talking to people, the quality issues are well known. First shift often signs off on wiring down all bolts in a section without doing their job, second shift comes in and ignores the problem, with third shift cleaning up the mess (or as much as they can find). Its a caustic work environment that has been bred since the company split in two.
- ltbarcly3 7y agoWell, alcoholics never lie, especially to hide the consequences of their drinking. It seems totally believable that he gave up a great job and paid back a huge bonus so he could go back to working on buses because Boeing didn't live up to the Greyhound standard.
- StudentStuff 7y agoRead the article and stop with the personal attacks please! Boeing's dangerous business practices are well documented.
