If a human has to be behind the wheel, then it will be even more expensive than Uber. They won't be able to handle the demand and wait times will be huge. So as a competitor to Uber I can't see how it will be effective. It's definitely an interesting development but financially it doesn't make sense unless the human is out of the equation.

- c3534l 7y agoSelf-driving cars are just a scam to get investor money out of people who want to hop on the next big thing. The point of this is optics, not profit.
