I cannot believe someone gets paid to study what is common knowledge that kids as young as 8 9 years of age know of. When they want to skip school they don't say I don't feel like it, they say they are poorly.
Is it more official now as Cambridge said it? How is this helpful in any way towards the common good?
- corodra 7y agoHey, being a mature adult that doesn't sugar coat things or hand out participation trophies because you've lived a fuller life than most internet surfers is considered snarky and against the rules :p Next on HN, university proves Santa isn't real. After that on HN, university gives outline how to use cognitive biases to lie to your kids that Santa is real, for the first time ever, because no one has figured it out before. Meh, these articles and blind acceptance in the comments in the name of peace/unity/whatever is now the norm.
