The real answer to this question is we don’t know, because we don’t fully understand psychosis. We know that drug induced psychosis is different from schizophrenic psychosis, and we understand that schizophrenia is really a degenerative condition that can get progressively worse if not treated; however even that understanding is limited and ‘coarse’. I have not heard of or seen exhaustion-related psychosis so can’t comment, but there are no simple answers, there are lots of people spending their entire working lives trying to better understand it but we have a long way to go
