Is anyone else concerned that this will lead to conditions like the beginning of the 20th century where 2 or 3 large families would live in a single residence, often times with 10+ people living and sleeping in the same room? Rezoning a residence to house twice the people without any adjustment in required square footage is a slippery slope towards turning low income housing into slums.
