I installed FB a few years back when it started to get popular and everyone was creating accounts. A few days later, a friend of mine posted a picture and tagged me. I hated the fact that I couldn't control that (The security settings were pretty basic back then) so I immediately deleted my account and never looked back. IG is ok I guess but I'm not really into it since everyone's life appears to be the same. The only one I really like is Twitter because it lets me stay informed about topics I'm interested in.
