A certain amount of laziness really is an important skill to have as a programmer, the busy bee will do lots over-engineering over-architecting and wheel reinventing. Where the lazy guy will go out of their way to find and use libraries and tools that save them effort and get the job done and have way less bloated code. On the other hand things like not being diligent about fixing bugs can be a problem though.
