IBM is not a serious player in the cloud segment.
- rurban 7y agoDid you forget that IBM bought Red Hat? It's one of the strongest cloud players now.
- StreamBright 7y agoI did not however, RedHat is not even remotely close to be one of a strongest players. IBM is hoovering around 10%ish, RedHat has no cloud offering that could be taken seriously. Most of the cloud vendors are competing in the public cloud segment (even though with VPC this is arguably more complex question) while RedHat focuses on private cloud, offering mostly OpenStack.
