Looks like a marketing strategy, more than lots of real genuine grassroots enthusiasm. Don't get me wrong, they are doing better in some respects recently, but I use Microsoft Windows because I have to, not because I love it. I won't be trusting them until the updates and telemetry are fully transparent and fully controllable.
