What is ironic is that the painting is a political, left-wing work of art, and it was created with the intent of denouncing the hypocrisy of the founding fathers. Are we doing a good service to the youth removing any kind of potentially disturbing imagery? I don’t think so. Reality can be disturbing at times, and still needs to be known.
