No, it is not in America's best interest to cripple the economies of its trading partners. That's absolutely absurd.
- bazooka_penguin 7y agoAmerica's hegemony is based entirely on the fact that it's the dominant economy, not merely a large one. If the EU or China (who has even called to replace the USD as the global currency) overtook the US then other nations would defer to them over the US. That's the end of the american empire
