- bscphil 7y ago>KDE Plasma 5 works well I use Plasma, and test the Wayland compositor every couple of months. Last time I checked, many features were still missing, performance was bad, and I still got crashes occasionally. If it's really gotten into a usable state since then, that's great.
- nwah1 7y agoResume from sleep causes a black screen. Crashes do happen occassionally, where the plasma desktop will die and restart itself... this happens more frequently with the latest releases. In recent releases, with multiple panels, sometimes the kicker menu doesn't open on one of them. On multi-monitor setups, it doesn't remember the monitor positions after reboot. On the plus side, I think the copy-paste situation with XWayland is finally improved.
