If Chinese manufacturers infringe on patented technologies, then it will be easy to ban import of their products. If they don't infringe and make something innovative then there is no problem. Having more competition is better for consumers. Also, as AMD entered the deal voluntarily, it means that it was considered profitable despite the risks. And I don't see the problem with building a supercomputer. Is it a privilege that shouldn't be available to developing countries?
