Wine is not a good example. They don't have access to the source code of the original system, and they haven't had the resources to cover the entire footprint of the Windows APIs.
- skykooler 7y agoThat's a good point. It'd be like comparing Boeing building a new plane to, say, Tupolev trying to build an identical copy without any blueprints.
