- icebraining 7y agoLinux works fine: I use awesome as window manager and xrandr for setting up monitors, and nothing changes when I unplug HDMI or DP. The problem seems to be with Gnome/KDE/etc.
- Aardwolf 7y agoCinnamon in my case :/
- icebraining 7y agoSupposedly the following command should disable that "feature": gsettings set org.cinnamon.settings-daemon.plugins.xrandr active false EDIT: apparently not anymore, but there's another solution: https://github.com/linuxmint/Cinnamon/issues/6646 https://github.com/linuxmint/Cinnamon/issues/6646 EDIT2: per this PR, you should be able to disable it in the configuration panel: https://github.com/linuxmint/cinnamon-settings-daemon/pull/178 https://github.com/linuxmint/cinnamon-settings-daemon/pull/1...
