Hehe, currently I have that problem on steroids: One of my two monitors is a bit broken. Every time I turn it on, it takes about 5 minutes until it finally works. But during those first five minutes, it constantly turns off and on again (about once in 2 seconds). You can imagine what that does to my windows ;-)
