IMO, nothing wrong as long as they're paid competitive market wages for their work and none of it is taken by the prison system for things like visitation or necessities (or anything else really, just let them have the money when they get out). At the end of the day, work is work and should be rewarded fairly regardless of the context. Otherwise, yea, it's slave labor.
