I’ve commented in the past about potential workarounds I though I had found, but still haven’t found a solution that works.
- RunawayGalaxy 7y agoFunny, an escape key would change the way I use the MacBook Pro as well.
- russh 7y agoHow about Home and End keys that just "do the right thing".
- robohoe 7y agoIn Blink shell (paid app) on iPad Pro you can remap the ESC key to ~ or CAPS LOCK.
- goerz 7y agoI wish that was a system-wide feature for external hardware keyboards like Apple's "Smart Keyboard Folio" (exactly like the modifier settings for keyboards available on the Mac)
- sbr464 7y agoThat would be amazing. It’s interesting that several native, Apple apps, specifically around media playback, don’t support common key commands using the official iPad keyboard. Things like space to play/pause or arrow keys to go back and forth, or jump scenes. I use the iPad more when traveling since I have a lot of media on Apple TV, but there isn’t really a comparison UX wise.
