Christmas times are fun!
- corin_ 16y agoNot sure I'd count adding one line to your site as "designed" or "hacked together". <script src="js/snowstorm.js"></script> Maybe if you'd written that JS yourselves.. pre-emptive edit: Maybe it's worth pointing out that I'm not saying you shouldn't have used that script, or that you ought to have written it yourself - just that you shouldn't claim you "hacked [it] together".
- yock 16y agoI may be missing something, as it seems at least I can't get a look at the actual javascript file, but is there some reason you believe they didn't write snowstorm.js?

- corin_ 16y agoAs it happens I recognised the effect without needing to see the code, but had that not been the case, the JS file begins: /** @license * DHTML Snowstorm! JavaScript-based Snow for web pages * -------------------------------------------------------- * Version 1.41.20101113 (Previous rev: 1.4.20091115) * Copyright (c) 2007, Scott Schiller. All rights reserved. * Code provided under the BSD License: * http://schillmania.com/projects/snowstorm/license.txt */
- paraschopra 16y agoI'm sorry if you thought if I came across saying that we wrote that JS. We didn't! I just thought that I found it very interesting effect and we featured on our login page (which for an A/B testing product is usually boring)
