With my 16 year old son, I built a weather balloon with one, including an Arduino, a few temperature sensors, a GPS, LoRA radio, and we're going to launch it next month. Having a hard time finding Helium.

- chadd 7y agoI need 200 cubic liters and they won't sell that much

- chadd 7y agoYes they won't sell except to existing customers. New customer == no helium.
- orpheline 7y agoAs a further science project, why not liberate hydrogen through electrolysis? Much less expensive than helium, and greater lifting capacity...
- chadd 7y agogood idea! I think we're just going to get a hydrogen tank, some protective gear, and go that route.
