- yters 7y agoI'd say that's consistent with my claim. While the official Catholic teaching is suicide is a mortal sin and deserves hell, Protestantism has no official teaching on the matter. Plus, numerous Protestants believe they cannot lose their salvation regardless of what they do, in which case suicide is a quick ticket to heaven.
