I've got one of the latest ones too, I still think it sucks more than the 2015 ones. I used to keep them on my desk partly as screen estate, now keep the lid closed, leave it under the desk and use a bluetooth keyboard in the hope it'll survive.

It's definitely different than 2015 so if you require more key travel, it won't be for you. But I am pretty happy with it.
