Or if you want to get really serious about it, try Skywall: https://openworksengineering.com/skywall-100/ https://openworksengineering.com/skywall-100/
There's also an increase in "anti-drone" drones. Drones armed with nets designed to take down intruding drones.

- JulianMorrison 7y agoOverthinking it, try a shotgun shell glued inside a stub of pipe with a solenoid firing pin.

- icxa 7y agoI left that one out because as of right now only three letter agencies have access to that one until the FCC approves it for general use, but yeah this is pretty rad: https://www.battelle.org/government-offerings/national-security/payloads-platforms-controls/counter-UAS-technologies/dronedefender https://www.battelle.org/government-offerings/national-secur...
- bscphil 7y agoRe the "skywall": if it's legal for a private business to own these to protect against corporate espionage, it's surely legal for me to protect my house in the same way. Sort of like how if I discover a tracking device connected to my car, I'm not obliged to leave it attached. I can remove it, even if a three-letter agency might demand to have it back.
