In my opinion, the most reliable science comes from mid-tier journals. The highest impact journals are mixed with the absolute best OR the absolute hyped.
- SubiculumCode 7y agoas well as top sub-discipline journals, which often have an impact factor of around 4-5, but within the sub-discipline e.g., developmental psychology, these journals has both respect and influence
