- j-c-hewitt 7y agoIt is, though. It takes minutes to just set a set of folders to sync and there are so many services that do this either for free up to a certain size or just cheaply. Manually backing stuff up is a chore that most people will put off, which is why most services now do it in the background.
- SomeOldThrow 7y agoThere is a need to personally attack people?
- Sean1708 7y agoSaying that something is professional negligence is not a personal attack.

- SomeOldThrow 7y agoDirecting that at a person is, and there seems to be no justification for the implication of moral failing.
- j-c-hewitt 7y agoYes, negligence is a moral failing. Do you want a negligent doctor? Do you want a negligent lawyer? How about a negligent accountant?
- SomeOldThrow 7y agoWe know none of this so that’s a straw man and a case of whataboutism.
- j-c-hewitt 7y agoIt's not. Failing to protect data that impacts customers/clients whomever is irresponsible and you can be sued for it and you can be ordered to pay the damages that you caused. It sounds mean, but you know what is really mean? Causing unnecessary harm to people who trust you.

- dang 7y agoPlease don't do this here.
- supernova87a 7y agoQuite the contrary. The person making the original comment attributed it to his laziness, a far more personal comment than the reply which was "professional negligence". It seems like you've gotten so far down the road of online "courtesy" and liberal non-confrontation that you don't know what's legitimate criticism and not a personal attack?
- SomeOldThrow 7y agoIt’s a waste of everyone’s time and attention to critique banal offhand comments unrelated to the conversation, which is obviously a violation of guidelines. I am clearly perfectly fine with confrontation. I am not a liberal.
