  Don't forget the screen cable breaking and requiring the screen to be replaced.

  The convergence of aesthetics and capitalism. Ultimately their products are priced/made too cheaply for the reliability that is expected. Increasing cost wouldn't sit well with the stock market however so it's a bit of a catch 22.
