I went from a 2500K with HD6950 to a 2700X and a RTX2080. That was a slight jump. Yep the 2600 is Zen+, 3600 is Zen 2, decent uplift in IPC (about 10%) on its own not worth upgrading. That 3900X looks tempting though to replace my 2700X. 50% more faster cores than an already very fast processor, AMD are on fire at the moment.
