If you're showing gameplay footage of a product that is still a year out or more in development, you had better follow up with new trailer releases as major elements of the game change. Look to [Hideo] Kojima Productions' Death Stranding for an example of hype tempered with gameplay footage that is released in drips and drabs as development of the game progresses. You can get a realistic sense of how the game will play.
