Is it still possible to buy HD TVs that are not smart? That's a niche that may interest HN readers; I prefer smartness through a peripheral...
- KozmoNau7 7y agoYou can buy monitors made for commercial usage, such as signage. They'll be simple monitors with no TV tuner or "smart" functionality, and they'll be built to better resist burn-in. They'll also cost you at least 2-3 times as much as an equivalent consumer TV.
