Will it do C++? I still haven't found a good C++ editor (with class member autocomplete popups and such) - at least, nothing that compares to Visual Studio over in the Windows world.
- pyeahtras 16y agoWhy not Xcode?
- udp 16y agoThe popup with the list of class members (I think XCode calls it "Code Sense") tends not to work if your code is too complicated. I know that sounds like a silly reason not to use an IDE, but I surprise myself with how much I miss it.
- foljs 16y agoThis appears to have been fixed in XCode 4.
- cubicle67 16y agoscreenshot appears to be C++ code (might be wrong on this though, as I've never written any C++, and only use C occasionally)
- jlmendezbonini 16y agoThe screenshot displays C code.
- meastham 16y agoI've heard good things about this plugin, which uses clang to do autocompletion inside vim: http://www.vim.org/scripts/script.php?script_id=3302 http://www.vim.org/scripts/script.php?script_id=3302
- udp 16y agoThat looks great - I'll give it a try. Thanks!
- srik 16y agogcc and vim with proper c++ handling work really well for me.
