ThinkGeek closes website, moves in with GameStop
- jdlyga 7y agoRIP. That site was amazing 10 years ago.
- silversconfused 7y agoI got a gift card for thinkgeek a few years ago. Couldn't find anything I wanted. Tried giving the code away to coworkers, family, even posted it on hn, reddit, and some chans. Literally nobody used it. Thinkgeek died when they stopped being for geeky programmers and started to cater to disney nerds.
- notinversed 7y agoWe all had a moment buying some dumb overpriced toy from think geek 15 years ago right?
- silversconfused 7y agoI <3 my geek blanket!
- jimkri 7y agoI remember buying a ninja remote aka tiny tv remote back in highschool so that I could change the channels on the old TVs. RIP.
- bdcravens 7y agoSite isn't closed just yet; they'll stop taking orders 7/2: https://www.thinkgeek.com/help/ https://www.thinkgeek.com/help/
