The KKK was formed after the Civil War (and the Confederacy). Jim Crow Laws were long after the Confederacy supposedly died.
The Civil Rights movement (specifically in Selma Alabama) was long after the Confederacy.
- gumby 7y agoParchman and Angola. Jim Crow laws were used as the model for the Nuremberg Laws and Mein Kampf calls out the achievements of white supremacy in the USA.
