Yeah your intuition is largely right. This has already been talked about on Twitter to death.
Her engagement metrics for the number of followers she has are not up to par. It suggests that she didn't build a real audience and took the route of boosting her profile with shallow tactics.
Real people with real audiences (think MKBHD, Casey Neistat, etc) are superstars and have real influence.
- AndrewKemendo 7y agoI'm not super familiar with what the right metrics would be here for 2M followers, but at my quick glance the numbers @arii has are about on par with with numbers that @MKBHD has for likes and comments per post: Hundreds of thousands of likes and hundreds to a thousand comments on each post. What kind of engagement metrics are you seeing that are drastically different between them?
