I read some histories that just sound like someone that financed a big and very specific type of boat, that they couldn't afford to begin with, while living in a landlocked nation with no lakes and a few small rivers. But it is not entirely their fault, a lot of people cheered their young naive ass on to step in that trap. The silver lining is that they might serve as a good cautionary tale for others.
