I think he meant Alibaba owns Alipay, which is a competitor to WeChat's payment system.
- skinnymuch 7y agoAlibaba doesn’t own Alipay. Alipay is owned by Ant Financial. I think a small minority might be Alibaba owned. But perhaps not even that much.
