I miss some of the old graphics solutions. Drawing something on the screen took a lot more work but it felt more real to me. The prevalence of applications over webpages. Don't get me wrong the web has massive benefits in terms of standardization, distribution, and security but I miss the power and flexibility of traditional applications. And yes, I know they still exist but I'd say they're not the primary delivery mechanism of most user-facing software today.
