- munk-a 7y agoGranted, that one is a buzzfeed article so ?
- blairbeckwith 7y agoBuzzfeed News is fairly well respected among people who don’t immediately blow off everything with the Buzzfeed name attached. Arguably more respected than TechCrunch.
- vorpalhex 7y agoBuzzfeed initially hired a set of respected journalists and started with the intent of creating a serious news org. That has not proven to hold and now they have become very click-bait heavy, misleading and dramatically under-sourcing their articles.
- AtHeartEngineer 7y agoSource? I don't really trust either of those sites, I'll read it occasionally, but usually more skeptically than other news sources.
- aileenwu 7y agoI am shocked. SHOCKED.
- olliej 7y agoI know, who would have thought that CBP* could possibly have leaked a large database of information about people that they accumulated without consent? Whoever could have predicted this. * The leak occurred when that data left CBP controlled systems. That the company benefiting from that first leak also had weak network security is an _additional_ criminal (in my mind, though probably not in the US political system) act.
