Yeah, I agree that force publishing something which is not ready is always bad. Maybe publishing in itself is a way that does not scale well. Text has always been quite the slow way of making progress. And now with VR we have better ways to visualize and learn from others work. How would you like to work, given free time and funding? Would you like to be able to keep track of every related research?
