I'm my estimation - you can almost live this way if you limit your expectations to someone from 1967 - limited food choices, single car, small home, frugal car-based vacations and heathy living.
- esturk 7y agoFunny you added 'healthy living' at the end. It makes you wonder why people would live beyond their means to be unhealthy.
- sokoloff 7y agoBecause people are terrible at accounting for the future. Shows up in diet, exercise, personal finance, and probably a bunch of other places.
- stunt 7y agoI have several Dutch friends who work four-day and don't mind a lower salary in exchange for healthy living.
- imesh 7y agoTwo problems: I can't afford a 1967 size small home anywhere near me, nor can I also support 3 kids and a non working spouse.
