We don't accept that as an argument for the morality of an action any other time. Why do you think it applies to discussions of our treatment of animals?
- tty2300 7y agoBecause no sensible set of morals would justify meat consumption when we are all perfectly capable of avoiding or seriously reducing it. I think the reason this is so controversial is we all know its true but it's highly inconvenient to acknowledge it.
