- galangalalgol 7y agoSome human populations, notably in the east, have sequences that enable efficient absorbtion an use o non animal protein, but for the rest of us it leads to a sort of sick and foggy half life if w don't eat animal protein.
- hjek 7y agoSo you're arguing that non-eastern vegans lead a "sick and foggy half life"?
- galangalalgol 7y agoThat is clearly not what I said.
- Falling3 7y agoDo you have any sources for that claim?
- galangalalgol 7y agohttps://alinepilani.com/vegetarian-diets/ https://alinepilani.com/vegetarian-diets/
- Falling3 7y agoThat applies to the former half of your comment, which I didn't find that unlikely. What about the latter half?
- galangalalgol 7y agoNone whatsover other than anecdote which could have been confounded by numerous other issues like food intolerances. It was admittedly hyperbolic.
- hjek 7y agoI have! https://www.standard.co.uk/beauty/do-you-have-vegan-face-how-to-avoid-a-lacklustre-complexion-resulting-from-protein-absence-a3533211.html https://www.standard.co.uk/beauty/do-you-have-vegan-face-how...
- Falling3 7y agoI should have clarified - _scientific sources_, not an advertisement for a face gym.
- hjek 7y agoOk then. Here's some science from a genetic expert professor: https://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/health-and-families/raw-food-diet-lethal-celebrity-trend-cooking-starvation-genetic-expert-steven-jones-a7772966.html https://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/health-and-families... According to him, you'll just drop dead after six months. I've been eating vegan longer than that, so it could be any day now.
